During this season of "no in-person gatherings", congregations across the world are seeing tithes and offerings drop. This not only impacts ministry capacity but also the life of Christ-followers. We know giving financially is a discipline that reminds us that our well-being comes from the "daily bread" our Heavenly Father gives to us more than from our paycheck.
To the world, this sounds silly and pandering...it sounds like we just don't want to interrupt the cash-flow. To the Disciple of Christ, this makes sense in spiritual and practical ways.
All this to say, please continue to give. Please continue to tithe to your church home. Send in or drop off a check. Or, click the button on this page and give online.
May the Lord bless you and keep you and protect you from giving in to the temptation of thinking that human wisdom and stockpiling resources are ever going to be our salvation! Amen!
